The Silent Witness SuperPawn Back Draft Bowl was a huge success. The New York Firefighters came out for blood and the defending champions from Phoenix couldn't wait. It turns out that New York, in the last few minutes, made a great play and beat the Phx Fire and PD by one point.The New York Firefighters returned to New York on Monday... Channel 3 met them at Sky Harbor airport at 10:00 AM to get a statement regarding the tenth anniversary of 9-11 and the killing of the #1 most wanted man in the universe.
Jason Schecterle flipped the coin at Saturday's game. He walked on to the field to the roar of the crowd and a standing ovation. Add to the mix Mike Watkiss as the master of ceremonies... the man is brilliant.
Honoring the first responders from the Tucson tragedy was so rewarding. The crew was so young and so passionate about their jobs. They thanked the Silent Witness team a million times for bringing them up and giving them certificates of appreciation.Wow it's over and I miss the New York team already.
