Two for the Road USA and Edsel Ford II
Two for the Road USA - Cathy Droz and Cathy Burford has the pleasure of spending some time with the great grandson of Henry Ford on Thursday, November 8th. First at the fundraiser for the Salvation Army and later that evening for a dinner with the Phoenix Automotive Press Association. Both speeches given by Mr. Ford II were excellent. The first about giving back and the later one involved NASCAR and how his grandfather got in to racing.

FDNY Football team beats PHX Thunder by One Point
The Silent Witness SuperPawn Back Draft Bowl was a huge success. The New York Firefighters came out for blood and the defending champions from Phoenix couldn't wait. It turns out that New York, in the last few minutes, made a great play and beat the Phx Fire and PD by one point. The New York Firefighters returned to New York on Monday... Channel 3 met them at Sky Harbor airport at 10:00 AM to get a statement regarding the tenth anniversary of 9-11 and the killing of the #1 most wanted man in the universe.
Jason Schecterle flipped the coin at Saturday's game. He walked on to the field to the roar of the crowd and a standing ovation. Add to the mix Mike Watkiss as the master of ceremonies... the man is brilliant.
Wow it's over and I miss the New York team already.

BBQ - Classic Car - Bill
The Two for the Road staff Boomer ( Cathy Droz ) and X ( Melanie Droz ) went to Phoenix Automotive Press Association ( P.A.P.A.) meeting and our guest speakers were from the Historic Vehicle Association.
Did you know that a charcoal BBQ grill gives off 3X more carbon than a classic car?
Bill was busy recording vignettes for Two for the Road so he couldn't make the meeting. Talk about old, I mean classic!

COPPERSTATE 1000 - When the wind picks up
Twofor Theroad-usa - PAPA Event - Phoenix Automotive Press Association
Copperstate 1000 - The journalists from the Phoenix Press Association went to Happy Jack Lodge to meet the participants of the Sunday, three - day event.
What a beautiful drive. I couldn't help but notice some of the garb these seasoned drivers wear when the wind picks up. I didn't expect Bill to walk behind my shot however.
