FIRST ANNUAL RETIRED NFL PLAYERS OF AZ GOLF TOURNAMENT

The first annual Arizona Legends golf tournament will be held on November 5th 2012 at the Arizona Biltmore, Adobe course.  This celebrity golf tournament will benefit the dire need fund for the retired NFL players in Arizona.  With over 300 former NFL players living in the state of AZ, the support should be fantastic.
President, Lincoln Kennedy, and other well-known NFL former players will be
the fifth player with each foursome.  The AZ Legends is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to give back to the youth of Arizona.  Not only are funds donated, each NFL former player participates in giving back.  For more information go to www.twofortheroadusa.com and click on contact us.

Two for the Road and Retired NFL Players

Two for the Road Marketing and PR -  New PR Agency for NFL Retired Players Association of Arizona.
Cathy Droz and Lincoln Kennedy ( President of the NFLPA of AZ) join forces to bring awareness to the retired NFL players of AZ.  The over 400 retired players of Arizona give back to the community such as the YMCA, U.S. Army, Cancer Society and local schools and churches.  The annual golf tournament is in November this year... partners welcome.  www.twofortheroadusa.com

Former NFL Players from Arizona play Basketball for Charity

FIRST ANNUAL CELEBRITY NFL BASKETBALL TOUR

Former NFL PLAYERS take on Local High School Faculty For Fundraiser

Phoenix - September - Former NFL Indianapolis Colt football player Sydney Justin,

along with the NFLPA Arizona Chapter and DeVry University, give back to the community.

Many of the 117 former NFL Football players that live in Arizona will be playing

basketball against the faculty of select High Schools throughout Phoenix and surrounding

areas starting September 13, 2011.

     This celebrity NFLPA event, sponsored by DeVry University, gives H.S. students an

opportunity to get up close and personal with former NFL players as they compete

against their school faculty. After each basketball game there will be an opportunity to secure

autograph and memorabilia signing as well as photos with the players.

     The first game will be held at Willow Canyon H.S. in Surprise, on Tuesday, Sept. 13th. The

scheduled day of the week differs for each school. Game time is 6 PM and admission for

H.S. and college students is $5.00, adults $8.00 and children 6-14 $3.00.

The referees and half time entertainment will also be of celebrity status.

This event is open to the public. The proceeds from the tour will benefit the “dire need

fund” for the former NFLPA chapter in Arizona and various programs at the High

Schools where the games are held.

    Some of the players that will participate during the ten weeks will be Clearance Moore,

Kwamie Lasitter, Robert Tate, Michael Bankston, Kerry Justin, Steve Holden, Mike Davis, Nick

Lowery, Darrell Clack, MarTay Jenkins, Lincoln Kennedy, Ayrius

Justin, Syd Justin and Seth Joyner. Kurt Warner has signed on to participate if his

schedule allows.

     Many of the NFL players, living in the valley, range in age from 23 upward. The “dire need

fund” is for medical conditions arising from short term play injuries or long- term disability for

players in need. The NFLPA is a non profit 501C 3.

DeVry University is pleased to sponsor a program that fosters community spirit and echoes its

commitment to expanding access for area youth to higher education opportunities beyond high

school.
